Online info says comes 2″ longer than twice the door ordered; I assume they come in a standard length (maybe 80″ – don’t have the leftover anymore) and pre-drilled for 3 screws. When I cut off the excess the middle hole was way off center so I added another to balance things out. In hindsight I would cut off some from each end and drilled 2 new screw holes because I had a tough time driving the screws. I wish it had come with screws. I probably didn’t make the right choice of screws. I had 4 of the same flat-headed wood screws and with the taper at the head, they wouldn’t drive flush with the track. Maybe I should have used pan-headed since the track works fine with the screws not being flush anyway. I suggest protecting the track with masking tape because the driving the screws really marred up the paint – good thing the track is aluminum so it won’t rust and isn’t too noticeable. All that being said the new Economy Sliding DIY Screen Door runs like a champ on the new track.
